Nashua woman looking for her stolen dog, New Hampshire

A woman from Nashua is looking for her stolen dog.

Lily Martinez said she left her dog, Nico, in her car while making a stop at a Walgreens in Nashua on Sunday. She left the air conditioning on and the doors unlocked.

When she returned, the dog was gone.

Nashua police are now looking to identify a man who may have information about the theft.

“I don't know where he is and he is very attached to me,” Martinez said of her dog. “I couldn't sleep last night because he is always with me. I didn't even want to come home last night because I knew he wouldn't be there.”

Martinez said she is offering a $500 reward to anyone who finds her dog.

Anyone with information on Nico’s whereabouts should call Nashua police at 603-594-3500.
